"Don't go ridin' on that Long Black Train"

Well I'm sorta figuring this NANO thing out. Downloaded my first couple songs to it anyway.

I love Josh Turner. Beyond the fact that I could listen to that deep bass voice of his for eternity, I appreciate the fact that a lot of his songs have a clear Christian message (even though it's twangy country, sorry for those that don't appreciate that). Make fun all you want, I like it, and that ain't changin'...

"Long Black Train" was his first big hit, or at least the first one I noticed since I'm not only listening to country anymore. Man, love that song, not sure what made me think of it today when I was thinking "what do I want to download." It's been awhile since I'd heard it, but it's a good thing to hear today.

Additionally, I finally figured out how to import songs from a CD (Natalie Grant) onto the blasted thing (I could still use a 5th grader if anyone has one for hire, there's A LOT I haven't figured out yet). But at least I've accomplished getting my current "I can't stop playing that song" song on it, so I'm happyish.

Thanks Cleve, for my IPOD NANO! I'll never forget you.

Yo M-Kate!

I love Josh Turner as well! You are correct...his breakout hit "Long Black Train" was his first big hit! I love that song too!

You can also subscribe to free podcasts as well...like James MacDonald's - Walk in the Word or Pastor Piper's - Desiring God's Ministries...just to name a couple.

You can also put that sermon i sent you on your ipod...just click and drag the file to your music library in the open itune screen...or go to import song or file and click on that file.

hope this helps! Later!

In Christ,
Jeremiah

Mel, I'm addicted to my iPod, and therefore a pro. Come on over and I'll do a workshop for you. Then we can both make fun of Tim W. who bought one for the Boston Marathon and then listened to exactly two songs for 26 miles because he couldn't figure it out. Don't be like him, M. Don't be like him.

I knew you were cool, I just didn't now how much. :) I have been to 2 Josh T live concerts. One of which I was close enough to see nose hairs. And he is really THAT good lookin in case you wondering! Anytime you want to try and see him, I am so there! Oh and jealousy abounds on the IPOD. I want one.
