It's been a bit of a trying couple weeks over here on the couch.
Did I tell you I'm helping teach a class for our 7th grade girls on Wednesday nights at Faith? Well, I am.
"Overcoming Fear, Worry and Anxiety"
Yes, God does have a sense of humor, I "received" this assignment about 3 weeks ago.
In preparation, I found this quote, from C. Spurgeon:
"Such strange creatures are we that we probably smart more under blows which never fall upon us than we do under those which do actually come."
Yep, I'm a fan of it.

Big fan of Charles. He has a way of getting right to the heart of a matter, you know? Good quote...and how true it is!!! Reminds me of a quote I have posted in my office: "Nothing is good or bad, but thinking makes it so." Oh, the tremendous power of our thoughts!
Never read any of his works. My first question is he saved? If so, I might consider picking up a book. Suggestions? Thanks, Chad
M-Cat - Spurgeon is the Dawg! If you want to borrow, I received his book "Morning and Evening"...very good.
That quote is really good...so true in my life...but then, you already knew that....
love ya,
G
