Seems like several folks I care about are wading through some deep water right now. But, someone reminded me this week that we should be encouraged by our times of trouble as Satan wouldn't bother trying to discourage us if he weren't threaten by us.
I'm glad I know which side wins, and that the winning team picked me.
Ps. 31:23-24
"Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints!
For the LORD preserves the faithful.
And, fully repays the proud person,
Be of good courage.
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord."

It always amazes me that anything I say or do could threaten the evil one and yet I've seen this happen in my life (like THIS WEEK!), so I appreciate your post. It seems like anytime I speak up for God, the enemy of my soul jumps on me big time! Thanks for the words of encouragment. It was a comfort and a great reminder.

You know what I love about the LORD? That not just one, but all His promises are true! He absolutely, positively cannot fail to keep them because he is faithful in character. YEAH!
