My dad and I used to eat these things when I was a kid. We were both "bed-time" snack people, up much, much later, than my mom and brother. They were the early to bed, to our late-late show.
We'd sit in the living room watching some Nick at Night, talking about a lot of things that thinking back now...seems odd, really, that a man of his age would talk about to a kid of my age. Several things were odd I guess I just didn't realize it at the time. One night I specifically remember, the two of us up all night watching CNN as Desert Shield transformed into Dessert Storm...we watched history in the making. I guess homeland security was the topic that night, before we really even knew what that meant...
Anyway, I was thinking of my dad and those nights this week. So, I bought a box. And, I just ate a bowl. Still the same hay-like little bales of fiber with chalky white frosting. They're not so good on their own, but they get pretty good as they soak in some milk.
...maybe I'm like a frosted mini-wheat.
...I hope.

"You're My Frosted Mini Wheat" sounds like a great song for a teen pop group like NKOB or Hansen. (Hanson?) Anyway - very cute.
Hey all you AiG van riders...remember...?
"Honk if you love Hansen, and then drive yourself into a tree"
I still love that!
