I'm getting up earlier these days, and I'm liking it. Which is miraculous in itself. I'm NOT a morning person, but evidentally, God can even change the things I consider most unchangeable about me. Who knew? ;) Don't want to sound prideful, it's still a bit of a struggle but I'm hopefull it'll stick. Mostly, because it's made such a difference to have real quality time to study and pray and just get my head on with God before facing the world each day.
I can't say it was my idea, Mark started doing it several weeks ago, and he inspired me to do the same. (and I think he was maybe inspired by Grets blog post, if I remember correctly...)
So, I'm amazed by the amount of stuff a person can accomplish in the wee hours of the morning. I'm usually up between 5 and 5:30, I can get some serious devotion time in AND get my excercise in and still have time to do "house stuff," like laundry, dishes, make my bed (ok, I won't lie, I still don't make my bed).
But this morning was special, I recieved a call at 5:30 from my brother, I'd actually just gotten out of bed...
"What in the world has gone wrong that he's calling me at 4:30 his time?" - that's what I was thinking....
Bob - Hey what are you doing?
Me - Well, I just got up.
Bob - What are you doing up so early?
Me - *You mean other than the fact that my phone just rang*...I've been getting up early lately. Why ARE you calling me so early?
Bob - Get outside the Lunar eclipse is awesome.
Me - Ah, okay. *didn't even know there was one going on*
So, I get off the phone with Bob and get on the phoneto "a friend who is also up early in the morning", to give him I mean, "them" the same treatment.
Anyway, I'm sorry if you didn't get to see it. It was a pretty cool little show God put on for us early birds, this morning.

It took me a little to figure out what side of the apartment the moon was on, but once I did, it was pretty cool, I'll admit :)
Oh, Mark, YOUR the one she was referring to! Man, I was going crazy trying to figure that one out. ;-) Thanks for calling me...that was great!
I was up but I don't leave my apartment unless I am showered. No Mr. Nasty going anywhere without Zest fully clean. (except to work out)
Funny thing, this monday I started getting up around 5 a.m. also to work out and get quality time with the Most High.

I have to say, that's very impressive for a "non-morning person". Nobody should be up at that hour:) Sorry I missed it.
Alright... 7:30 am. Curves. Sat the 8th. :)
