Boarded plane.
Found seat 6A.
Found 10 gallon hat in 6B.
Found owner of 10 gallon hat: "Cowboy Greg"
Spent the next 3 and a half hours of my life getting to know Cowboy Greg.
Could easily author a book on the life and times of Cowboy Greg. Working title: "The life of a single Texan attempting life as a Hoosier."
As he left me at baggage red two (Eik) quips: "So did he ask for you number, and did you give it to him?"
Red one (me): What am I a moron?
Red leader (bev): Is that a rhetorical question?
Red one: Ah, yes. Thank you.
Red two: You know Maulding, if there's an akward situation to be found. YOU WILL find it. Nice work.
Many laughs followed. We're only a few hours in and the memories are already piling up.
Stayed tuned...it's sure to get better.

In terms of call signs...if you're shooting for a Star Wars reference (which is the only "Red Group" I recall)...I don't believe there was a Red one. Red Leader was the default Red one, but went by the name Red Leader. Thus you would need to further complicate your posts by switching to Red Leader, Red Two, and Red Three; rather than RL, R1, and R2...if you're striving to accurately mimic the theatrical...
Given Cowboy Greg and the fact you're in Texas...maybe you should drop "Red Group" and go with good 'ole boy/Smokey & the bandit/dukes of hazzard CB Handles. Snowman, Silver Tongued Devil, Rubber Duck, Pig Pen, Sheepdog, Little Bo Peep, Lost Sheep, Shepherd etc.

Thanks so much all for leaving me stuck in Indiana on the only weekend of this short school work that I have NO SCHOOL WORK! Some friends you are...but then again, I may still have my sanity by the end of the weekend and we all know that most of the Red Team will not .. Red One and Two for obvious reasons and Red Leader and Red Three because they have to spend time with other reds. :)
