Party like it's 1985

Event: Sandler Night

Date: Feb 9th

Time: 7 p.m.

Where: 516 Red Couch Blvd

Why: I don't believe an excuse is necessary for Sandler night, but...

1) I've had and will continue to have a rough week this week. And,
since I don't drink, this is the best alternative I came up with.

2) I need to show up Mark's recent hit of a movie party, sorry no guitar
hero, unless he's truckin' it over here (I know I'm not cool, deal with it
or stay home) but I can guarantee you won't smell like caramel for a week
when you leave.

3) Still have enough hot chocolate to choke a horse.

4) I inherited 15# of sugar, when G-knee moved in. So, I need to bake
something before the ants stage a successful coup.

Sorry to hear your week is not going well Mel. Mine has been a little stressful as well. Connor still has that virus, I took him to Dr again today. I was originally going to bring him when a little birdie told me about Sandler night, but that all depends...Pray for him (and me) and I'll pray for you!! Love ya!!

Have fun!!! Let me know when you want to have a "Best of SNL" night and I'll bring my DVD.

I have an "away" improv gig, but if the party's still going when I'm done, I'll be there!

(And I won't bring Guitar Hero because I don't want Wendy to think that's all I ever do!)

I just saw this. I'm going to bed. You gotta start usin' the phone.

...and I gotta start paying attention. That's a 9.

Sounds like fun.... I'll be there!

I'm going to try to make it. No promises. It may be late like Farley night. We'll just have to see.

Oh, and if I can make it, you KNOW the candle's coming with me!

Mup - leave the candle at home. I only can spend so much every month on detergent and Dry Cleaning.

Mel - I'm glad to have found out about this via your blog...good thing I surf blogs at work.

Jeremiah - I have a complex. You've never posted on my blog.

Dana - I didn't realize you were all still suffering. Love you!

Wendy - Could you help me hang stuff in my room tonight as well?

I second the "leave the candle at home" comment. The scent in my coat is finally just about gone.

These comments only make me want to bring it MORE!

I am a Scent Fascist! You WILL smell like caramel!

oh Mel - can you make those chocolate chip cookies? They were soooo good...and we can eat them all next week! yummy! you're the best!

You all just gave me a good laugh.

Gknee - that is so not true we talked about it at least 2 other times! See what I can do about the cookies, don't think we have chocolate chips though.

Dana- sorry my favorite little blonde is still having a tough time, hope that clears up soon, will be praying for you both.

Mander - just bring yourself

Mark - bring that candle anywhere near my house and we'll sacrifice you as a scent offering! I seriously had someone ask me if I had been baking when I walked in and took my coat off at training this morning!

Pete - come on over - whenever you can, sure we'll be here.

Sturm - try to read my blog when you're awake :)

Jeremiah - thanks for commenting on my blog and not G-knee's :) Sorry that you and A can't make it - I would so be there for Alton night, but I think it might be a small crowd :) not everyone appreciates the finer things, as we do.

Oh yeah....when are we having a Will Ferrell night? I'm dying because there isn't much on You Tube from SNL Cheerleaders.

I can make it! My mom is going to come in to town tomorrow to give me a hand with Connor. I'm super excited because I have been surrounded by elementary age kids all week and of course my lovely toddler! Adult interaction is much needed!!!

M. Kate said...

AWESOME!! Props to Dana's Mom, but you know you can always bring him. He's you, you're him - we love you both.

MadMup said...

I was looking forward to finally meeting Connor!

Anonymous said...

Mark - anytime you want to meet Connor...I know where he is most Sunday mornings...the nursery! I am sure they could put you to good use there :)

MadMup said...

Hey, now, let's not get all hasty here or anything!

Dana said...

It isn't that I don't want to bring him. Please refer to my post that mentions the rotavirus. There are some not so fun symptoms that go along with this and I do not wish to make any of you have to bear witness to said symptoms. Believe me you should be thanking me! How about Connor comes for Will Ferrell night?!
